Austin-based Company Ignition Unveils Latest Enhancements for Accountants and Service Providers

Leading professional services platform, Ignition, announced its newest product enhancements aimed at improving revenue, profitability, and firm efficiency. The Austin, Texas-based company's latest features offer accountants the ability to manage their revenue and payments all in one place, enabling them to maximise their business potential. This was communicated by Ignition's Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, Dane Thomas, seeing these improvements as invaluable to accountants in the current economic climate.

Among the platform's innovations are an automatic price-increase tool set to release in the coming months, which will increase fees when renewing client contracts. Alongside, a new billing and payments feature, Instant Bill, recently introduced to charge for out-of-scope work without the need for a new proposal. This is a response to Ignition noticing their client's hesitance to raise prices due to complex client conversations.

Furthermore, Ignition has introduced a suite of functions to enhance proficiency. These include tools for firms to create and renew bulk proposals quickly using a template or bulk renew existing client agreements. Also, the newly released Invoice Import feature converts recurring invoices from accounting software into Ignition's proposals swiftly. Mr. Thomas highlighted these tools as perfect for time-consuming periods like tax season, increasing time for actual client work.

Digitalisation also contributes to the latest enhancements. The platform adopted popular digital wallets Apple Pay and Google Pay as payment options. In addition, Ignition provides flexibility to pass credit card processing fees to US and Australian clients if they wish to recover the costs. The focus, according to Mr Thomas, is primarily on increasing flexibility and controlling payment processes to ensure timely payments.

Finally, Ignition launched the #CallForChange initiative, supported by over 100 accounting leaders, encouraging accountants to increase profitability while providing users an average saving of over 18 hours per week on administrative tasks.

With about 7,000 accounting and professional customers globally, it ensures faster payments, efficient services, and increased profitability.
